What You'll Do

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for state and local government accounts

Build and manage a pipeline of government opportunities using AI-powered research and outreach tools

Develop relationships with government decision-makers and navigate complex procurement processes

Partner with the founder and product team to shape positioning, pricing, and packaging

Help define and iterate on the go-to-market playbook as the first dedicated sales hire

Represent Concourse at government conferences, trade shows, and industry events

What We're Looking For

3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling to government or enterprise customers

Track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a closing role

Comfort with long sales cycles and complex, multi-stakeholder procurement processes

High agency and entrepreneurial mindset—you thrive in ambiguity and build process from scratch

Enthusiasm for AI—you're excited to use tools like Claude to 10x your sales output

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Based in or willing to relocate to NYC for in-office work

Concourse is an early-stage, fast-growing startup backed by Bessemer Venture Partners. This is the CEO's second venture after a successful exit in 2021.

We sell technology to state and local governments, aiming to improve public services by replacing legacy, inefficient systems. The core problem we address is the disconnect between tax payments and perceived government inefficiency—often due to outdated technology.

We're building an AI-native company where every team member is empowered to use AI tools like Claude to automate their work. Our team is based in Flatiron, NYC.
