This free two-session training is for state and local government professionals who already use AI in their work and want to get more out of it. We'll tailor sessions to the use cases that matter to you and create time and space for participants to learn from each other.

  • A discussion about how you currently use AI in your work
  • Prompting techniques
  • Applying AI to your specific work tasks
  • How to use AI agents

Session 2 · Wednesday, September 30

From your desk to your team

  • Using AI to analyze data and spot trends
  • How to schedule tasks that run on their own
  • How to codify best practices into a skill or agent you can share with colleagues
  • Guidance for writing an AI policy for your organization

Plus an optional 30-minute office hour between the two sessions.

Participants will leave with

  • Prompting techniques you can use on your own work the next day
  • A clearer sense of where AI helps in your job and where it doesn't
  • A task running on a schedule without you starting it
  • A skill or agent you can share with colleagues
  • A starting point for your organization's AI policy
